Howdy! I’m Stephen Tate and I’m from Texas.  No we don’t actually say howdy, at least not in Austin.  I was born in Los Altos California actually in Stanford hospital.  Moved to Texas when I was about six years old.  I chose Clemson because my sister goes to UGA and my mom is from North Carolina, so I ended up knowing the area.  I am really looking forward to this semester. I am rushing, so this term may be a little more challenging with pledging.  I enjoy going on the lake in Austin, whether it be stand up paddle boarding on Town Lake (small no wake lake), or going on a speedboat on Lake Austin (large commercial lake).  I ran cross-country in the fall, however I don’t think I was any good.  I sprained my ankle on my first day of college playing basketball, something for me to remember about starting off college in the future.
